You will receive an email from ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com after submitting your manuscript, signifying that ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com has accepted your work for publishing and will abide by this agreement.

Publishing Agreement with ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com/1stBookstore.com

Economical Self Publishing agrees to provide the following services to authors who submit all manuscripts and necessary supporting information and pay the required fees:

  1. At the sole discretion of the editorial staff and management, ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com reserves the right to reject any work submitted for publication. If a work is rejected, all materials submitted to ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com will be returned and any payments made will be refunded in full.
  2. Compile your book into .PDF format from .DOC format and make it available for purchase in POD format by credit card (at 1stBookstore.com) on the internet.
  3. Design and produce a web page to market your book (at 1stBookstore.com) on the Internet in printed form..
  4. Provide you with e-commerce services to sell your book(s) online (at 1stBookstore.com). These services include a shopping cart so that buyers can select your books from among others. Also included is credit card processing services and thank you E-Mail messages to the buyer for each sale made.
     
  5. Provide you with a FREE copy of an eBook of your works that you may use in anyway you see fit. You may sell it, give it away or forget it. .
     
  6. Pay you the calculated profit per copy for books sold on ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com/1stBookstore.com, based on your desired profit per copy for direct sales of your books, as shown in the Book Pricing email sent to you during the manuscript submission and formatting process.
  7. All publications submitted by any author shall remain for sale at 1stBookstore.com for a minimum of 1 year. After the first year, the publication will remain for sale as long as there are at least 10 sales in each calendar quarter.
  8. Collect all monies for sales of author's publications listed on the 1stBookstore.com websites, and remit agreed to profit amounts, along with record of sales, quarterly to author. Profit payments to be paid to author during the first week of the quarter following the quarter in which monies for sales are collected.

Registered authors agree to the following:

  1. The registered author is the originator and sole owner of all rights to the work(s) to be published, and has full authority to make this agreement with ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com/1stBookstore.com
  2. The registered author grants Non-Exclusive Rights to ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com to publish the proposed works. (This means that the author retains the rights to publish the works elsewhere.)
  3. The proposed work(s) are not in the public domain; do not violate any right of privacy; are not libelous or obscene; do not infringe upon any statutory or common law copyright; and that any recipe, formula or instruction contained in the work(s) is not injurious to the user or advocates the use of violence to the user.
  4. To provide copies of written permissions to use any material that is copyrighted by others, if any such material is included in author's proposed work(s) to be published by ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com.
  5. By publishing the author's proposed work(s), ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com, shall have NO legal responsibility for the author's work. Furthermore, the author agrees to hold ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com harmless for any damages that ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com may sustain due to publishing the author's work(s).
  6. To pay ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com the publishing fees as stipulated on the ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com websites for work(s) submitted to ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com/1stBookstore.com for publication.
  7. To provide ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com with all information, files and graphics required on publication registration form at the time of submittal and payment.
  8. To authorize ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com/1stBookstore.com to collect all monies for the sale of author's work(s).
  9. To authorize ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com/1stBookstore.com to pay you the calculated profit per copy for books sold on ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com/1stBookstore.com, based on your desired profit per copy for direct sales of your books, as shown in the Book Pricing email sent to you during the manuscript submission and formatting process.

*Because of a strong commitment to our authors, and in order to efficiently fulfill orders placed for your book(s), we maintain an inventory of between 3 and 5 copies of your book(s).

If for any reason you make changes to your book and have it reprinted, or are no longer using the services of ESP-Economical-Self-Publishing.com, you will be obligated to purchase any inventory still held for you at a 60% discount.
